Ashley practices in the areas of complex trust and estate planning and commercial litigation.
She has been concentrating on serving high net worth individuals in estate and wealth planning and also trust practices in the past 9 years. Ashley’s trust and estate planning practices include living trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts (“ILIT”), gift trusts, dynasty trust, US foreign grantor and non-grantor trusts, and other types of complex trusts. She also provides pre-marital and pre-immigration estate planning consultation. She is a frequent lecturer to senior financial advisors in international investment banks and large insurance companies in both US and Asia.
Ashley also has extensive experiences in patent and complex commercial litigation. She advises international and U.S. clients on complex commercial civil litigation, including patent, trade secret and unfair competition. She has represented businesses and individuals in both state, federal and appellate courts. She has successfully resolved many disputes involving business and commercial cases.
Besides serving clients in Silicon Valley, Ashley has also served and represented many individuals and companies based or doing business in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea.
Before joining our firm in 2009, Ashley had practiced as a litigation associate in a Silicon Valley litigation firm for 5 years and had been a partner in a prestigious boutique intellectual property litigation firm for 3 years.
Ashley was born in China and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.
